Hello! Today when I was surfing the web, I ran across this subsidized student loan question. Check it out!
I am a freshman in high school with a 3.33 GPA (which is really poor, I know). I am taking English Honors, Geometry Honors, and AP Biology at a tutor outside of school. I’m doing pretty badly, as I usually get 3′s on the practice tests. My mom is really upset with me for doing so poorly on the tests, but I think she forgets that AP Bio is a freakin’ college course. There are only two freshmen in that class including me, and the rest are sophomores or juniors that are taking the class at school as well.
Another class I’m taking is Geometry Honors. During the summer my mom sent me to another tutor, who sucked balls to prepare us for Geometry, and he taught us difficult shortcuts and incorrect methods to solve problems. I had a C in Geometry H before the finals, and so did another kid who also went to the summer class. So it’s pretty evident that our tutor screwed us over. Now I have an 80% thanks to my finals, which I studied the textbook for. I got a B+ on my finals, which I was pretty proud of. My smart friend got an 83% on her final, and I told my mom this. She replied with a “she didn’t go to a tutor for this class”. This really made me mad, since I told her before that the tutor she took me to sucked and didn’t teach us properly (and he had a Chinese accent which was difficult to understand). I then told her about the other kid who went to his class and still has a C, and she told me not to compare myself to the weaker students. Like, WTF??!
Other than my classes, my mom always compares me to high school juniors and her friend’s kids, who go to top tutor centers and take regular classes, resulting in better grades. In addition, their parents have gone to college, have gotten at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees, and understand English and can communicate with their teachers easily. My mom disregards all of this and continues to compare me to them (she only has a high school diploma). She even calls me ugly and fat even when I try my best to exercise, which I don’t have time for because I am CONSTANTLY studying for AP Bio. She won’t even let me wear the tiniest amount of mascara, and she still calls me ugly. This doesn’t bother me as much, because she’s at LEAST 225 lbs. I don’t think she’s doing all of this because she “wants me to have a better life” or “doesn’t want me to end up like her”, because if she really wanted me to be better off, she wouldn’t insult me so much and she would encourage me rather than make derogatory remarks about my grades and looks. I guess I just want to know if anybody else can relate and how I can learn to impress my mom. Thanks so much.
We really hope that this subsidized student loan question and answers will improve your knowledge on this subject.
Have a great day!

Hello! We have found another subsidized student loan question for you to ponder.
I have mostly straight A’s. I am number one as for now being the student with the highest GPA. But this school is not competitive. It’s very very small…like 100 seniors.
Lately, I feel too pressured to get A’s. My motivation for school has just gone, but I still want to pass my classes. I mean, my parents want me to find a job. My parents are very poor, so I can’t really go to college after I get my associates.
Point: being validictorian won’t help me at all….Should I just throw my chances away and take my classes easily.
The reason I wanted to be validictorian in the first place was because I had low self-esteem and wanted to beat all the students in my grade.
Now, I’ve changed. I’m 18, and I’m being unhappy over NOTHING.
Ideas?
**And thanks for reading, guys. Means a lot
That was just the subsidized student loan question I was looking for. Great answers, too. With any luck, it was the one you were searching for, as well.
Have a nice day!

Greetings! Well, here is a subsidized student loan question that will help answer a common query. Good luck!
I’m finished with college and now I need to decide what I want to do with my post-college life. I’ve decide I want to go abroad but I need help deciding which route to take. I can either get a ESL cert and teach English abroad, or I can join the Peace Corps. The Peace Corps requires a longer commitment (two years), but it seems like a nicer thing to do and they have a larger variety of jobs beyond just ESL teaching. What would you do?
I enjoyed that subsidized student loan question and answer session. If you aren’t satisfied with any of the answers, please ad your own.
Have a wonderful day!

Greetings! Well, here is a subsidized student loan question that will help answer a common query. Good luck!
My tax refund this year will be offset to clear up my balance I owe in defaulted student loans. Will I be able to apply and qualify for future student loans when I decide to go back to school? I made mistakes in the past but I am ready to finish my education.
@Dana, thanks!

How is it going? I was walking through the mall today and I thought of a good subsidized student loan question. Well, here it is. I think you will find it helpful.
I will try to keep this as short and sweet as possible. : )
I am 22 years old (23 in March) and I am currently completing prerequisites for an RN program at a local community college. I was planning to attend my first choice university right out of high school, but during the summer between high school graduation and senior year, I got cold feet about taking out thousands of dollars in loans.) My original college major was social work, but I got talked out of it by people saying that I should go for a better-paying job. After I decided not to do social work, I thought about several different career options (elementary education and a management position at my current workplace.) However, I ultimately decided that education isn’t for me and neither is a permanent career at the worldwide retailer at which I work. I want my effort in college to be rewarded with a job with a good salary (I would be very content with ($50-60K) and job security. I will admit that college is taking me longer than I planned due to my job and my anxiety. After I turned 22, my mom started pressuring me to make a permanent career decision, mostly because I will only have health insurance through my dad’s employer until I turn 26. I understand her concerns, especially since she works a night job just for the insurance (her day job doesn’t provide insurance). But I don’t know if sacrificing my HAPPINESS for health insurance is worth it.
Anyway, I have always said that if money were no object, I would be studying social work. Nursing is a good career for me on paper (good salary, I like working with people, I think I would enjoy the “patient education” aspect of the job), but my heart is just NOT in it, and I have much doubt that I ever will be.
If I were to pursue a career in social work, I would probably want to work for the Department of Children and Family Services in my state (not sure where I want to live yet either!) I think I could find a job that is a good fit for me. I would be willing to relocate anywhere in the US.
Any advice? Sorry it was so long and thanks in advance!
Have a great day! : )
This subsidized student loan question was exactly what was on my mind. The answers helped with my problem. I am glad the original poster shared.
